NoMorePost.com came about when its founder was thinking of a way to help the planet.

He felt that in an age when people are so aware of the environment and the damage that is being done to the planet, it was time that he tried to address the first sign of our planets deterioration, the disappearing forests of the world.

Put simply , trees are used for paper and paper is used in offices, newspapers, magazines and for post. As most offices are using computers more and more there is less paper being used. Newspapers and magazines are seeing their circulation shrink as more people go online for news and information. That just leaves the post and postal services.

Apart from physical items, we do not actually need to receive any post at all, not in this technology driven era.

All that we need is an electronic storage system where all bills, statements, letters and other correspondence can be sent and stored electronically.

While technically all this is nothing new, it has never been conceived that there would or could be a way to replace the postal services of the world, until now.

Think about it, what did you receive in the post over the last month? That’s right, it was mostly bills and statements. What did you do with them? You may have kept and filed them or you may have just read them and recycled the paper.

Imagine what non planet friendly processes were used to deliver the post to you. Trees were cut down to produce the paper they were printed on, unbelievable amounts of carbon monoxide was vented into the atmosphere for the transportation......even the obscene amount of pollution that was emitted into the atmosphere from the polyethylene plants that produced the plastic for the little plastic windows on the bills....the list goes on and on.

Even recycling waste paper causes carbon emissions, so why not cut it off at the source and make it so there is no need to even recycle.

Lets face it, the postal service is not friendly to the environment and all it does is increase everyones carbon footprint.

While this is not the solution to saving the planet it is a big step in the right direction.

The benefits to companies are that it will not only save them a fortune in postal costs, but they will also be taking an active step towards a greener planet.
